Green Lantern is a DC comics character that has been around for many decades. There have been many incarnations of this Ring weilding superhero character. First, there was Alan Grant and then Hal Jordan, airforce pilot followed a few decades later. Since then, the Green Lantern Corp was established with many Lanterns from around the galaxy. Guy Gardner, Kyle Raynor, and Jon Stewart among them. Many of these have been depicted in animated television shows. Only once in the past has there been a live action Green Lantern. The 2011 film starring Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan came out. Now, a second live-action version of the character is coming out in August starring Kyle Chandler and to boot it also has a live-action Jon Stewart portrayed by Aaron Pierre. This show will be on HBO Max and will hopefully shepherd a new era of DC comics on television.  James Gunn released the teaser trailer, and here it is now for your viewing pleasure.
