Julian Schnabel is a bit hit or miss for most film aficionados. He has directed the films “Basquiat”, “Before Night Falls” starring Javier Bardem and “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly” in which he’s recieved a lot of awards wins and Nominations. His latest film is “In the Hand of Dante” starring Oscar Isaac, in multiple roles, and an all star cast. Based on the novel by Nick Tosches. The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2025 and will have a wide release in 2026 and eventually stream on Netflix in June 2026. Here is the trailer for “In the Hand of Dante”
