Brad Pitt has settled into his post Academy Awards career with doing some different kinds of films like “The Heart of the Beast,” the newest movie from action director David Ayer. He plays a former Special Forces soldier stranded in the Alaskan wilderness with his combat dog after a plane crash. The film, set for a September 25, 2026 release, explores the bond between man and animal as they fight to survive against nature, with J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe in supporting roles.
