“The Uprising” is a historical action-drama film written/directed by Paul Greengrass, starring Andrew Garfield as Wat Tyler, the leader of the 1381 English Peasants’ Revolt against King Richard II. Set for a September 11, 2026 release, the film also features Jamie Bell, Thomasin McKenzie, and Woody Norman (as the young King).
