Marvel Studios doesn’t come to the San Diego International Comic Con every year. They usually skip a year, and every couple of years, they have quite a few announcements. Sometimes, this has bitten them in the ass because they have had to cancel things they’ve announced, like “Blade” or “Armor Wars,” to name a couple. They are back again this year with an anticipated big panel, hopefully giving fans of the film’s a lot to chew on.

Some hopeful properties that will be announced will be an “Black Panther 3”, an “X-Men” film, a “Midnight Sons” film, and a trailer for the upcoming “Vision Quest” streaming show. Another “Avengers: Doomsday” trailer and / or  other surprise announcements nobody could have predicted. Definitely, I would think actors from some of these proposed properties that could make appearance at the panel as well. You never really know who will appear and what could happen. That’s the cool part about waiting and anticipating what’s to come.

Dr. Doom seems to be the character of the hour, though, as people have been handing out Dr. Doom costumes in bags. That would be pretty cool to have, I bet, though. Herby, the robot from “Fantastic Four: First Steps,” has taken the stage at the SDCC Hall H panel as of right now. So there is a connection there, which is cool. This energy in Hall H is pretty crazy and loud at the beginning before Feige comes out. Kevin Feige has finally taken the stage after a half-hour delay from the previous panel…

There is a trailer for “Avengers: Endgame Encore”, they are trying to keep the new secrets in the trailer close to the vest. They are making fun of Josh Horowitz because he asked about whether Ryan Gosling is the new Ghost Rider. The Ghost Rider logo is on the screen, and Ryan Gosling has walked out on stage. It will be directed by Shawn Levy from the “Deadpool” films. He just directed “Deadpool & Wolverine” and “The Star Fighter” also starring Ryan Gosling. Jon Bernthall has walked out on stage to talk about “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”.

Now the Russo Brothers have come out on stage, and they are bringing out three different teams of characters that will be in “Avengers:Doomsday.” The rumors are true. Everybody who is involved in this film is there at SDCC HAll H Panel. The Thunderbolts, aka The New Avengers, The Avengers, The X-Men & The Fantastic Four. Everybody who is anybody in this universe of film is coming out at SDCC Hall H Panel. It has to be pretty cool to be in that room. I’ve never been there before, but I’d love to go to SDCC one of these years. Even Ryan Reynolds has come out as the Ash version of Deadpool.

They have shown some exclusive footage to the SDCC Hall H Panel, and a quote on X has gone out, and it’s “Holy Shit.” That tells me that the footage has to be pretty crazy. Kevin Feige has come back out on stage to show another clip. A title card and Ryan Coogler have come out on stage. A bunch of the cast of “Black Panther 3” have come out on stage with a new Black Panther which is T’Challa’s son David Johnson from “The Long Walk” and Alien: Romulus” has been cast as this character. He’s a fantastic actor. I loved him in both of those films. Good casting.

The panel was only 38 minutes long, very short by Marvel Studios standards, but a couple of big announcements were made. The rumors of an “X-Men” film and cast, as well as Denzel Washington appearing, were just that only rumors. They did give an exclusive poster of Dr. Doom away to those who were in attendance and here that is. Overall, it was fun to follow along with these announcements, and I was excited by Ryan Gosling being cast as Ghost Rider. He’ll be able to work once again with Shawn Levy, whom he just worked with on “The Starfighter. This was a lot of fun.
