“The Stunt Driver” is a 2026 biographical comedy film about Canadian stuntman Ken Carter, who attempted a mile-long jump across the St. Lawrence River in a rocket car in the 1970s, starring Jay Baruchel as Carter, with Ed Helms as engineer Dick Keller and Ben Foster as Evel Knievel. Written and directed by Michael Dowse, the film is based on the true story and the documentary The Devil at Your Heels, and is set for a September 25, 2026, theatrical release after premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival.
